Purchasing transit passes and direct pay parking
Ordering transit and parking passes has never been easier! Once you’re enrolled in a transit and/or parking account with Discovery Benefits, simply login into your Discovery account access and click on WiredCommute to initiate your account within WiredCommute.
Within 24 to 48 hours, your WiredCommute account will be set up and you will be able to order your passes. To access, login into your account and select WiredCommute. Within WiredCommute you will begin by selecting your city or greater metropolitan area. Then click on your specific transit authority or parking garage. You’ll find many commuter products, including fare passes, transit vouchers, direct pay parking and parking reimbursement.
Orders must be finalized by the 10th of each month (NYC area the 4th) to order your next month’s pass. Your order is processed monthly and mailed to your home. You can set it up as a one-time event or a recurring event. If you elect a recurring event, it carries over every month until you change it, cancel it or become ineligible.
Electronic reminder notices
You’ll get an email reminder notice about your recurring order. It’s sent to you around the first of each month and gives you time to make changes if you want.
Getting your passes/vouchers
They’re mailed to your home, first class, for use starting the first of the following month.
What if I don’t receive my pass/voucher in the mail?
Contact Participant Services at 866-451-3399 or customerservice@discoverybenefits.com and we will send a replacement to you.
Changing your order on WiredCommute
You can change your order any time before the 10th of the month (NYC area the 4th), which is the cut off date for when orders must be entered for the next month’s pass. Just access your WiredCommute account through your Discovery login on the Internet.
If the change in your order constitutes a change in your election, you must also complete an enrollment/change form and submit it to your employer.
To change your election
Complete an enrollment/change form and submit it to your employer. Your employer will communicate your change in election to Discovery. You must also update your order on WiredCommute if the amount you want to purchase is changing as well.
