What is a Transportation Benefit Plan?
A Transportation Benefit Plan is an employer sponsored plan allowed by Section 132 of Internal Revenue Code. The plan allows you to pay for your work related commuter and qualified parking expenses on a pre-tax basis up to a monthly IRS maximum amount. Your participation in the plan is voluntary.
